HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY?
Valentine's Day is named for the Saint Valentine.
Any folklorists took advantage of turning it into a holidiay.
what to do on valentine's day?
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
While walking wretchedly in shame,
I felt a love that sought to win,
I heard a voice that called my name.
Yes, Jesus, Lover of my soul,
Gave me the greatest valentine:
He promised there to make me whole,
In love He asked, “Will you be Mine?”
He wooed me in such tender ways,
He promised to protect, provide,
His all He pledged with loving gaze,
That I should e’er with Him abide.
He gave me glimpses of His grace,
The splendors that around Him shine;
With ardent, longing, fervent face,
In love He asked, “Will you be Mine?”
Could I His offered love refuse?
Could I His yearning cast aside?
For I was asked, and I must choose:
A blackened soul or spotless bride.
To Him that bled to make me free
I could but say, “I will be Thine”;
Yes, Jesus shed His love on me,
Such love that asks, “Will you be Mine?”
Can I such wondrous love repay?
A thousand years can never earn
Such love as this; but this I may:
With all to love Him in return.
’Tis bliss to know I dwell within
The ocean of His love divine—
Such love that sought my heart to win,
Such love that asked, “Will you be Mine?”
Oh, weary one, can you not see?
The Son of God has called your name;
Ye lonely, listen to His plea,
For you, yes, even you He came.
He wants to fill your broken heart,
Your hurt to heal, do not decline;
To you He would His love impart—
In love He asks, “Will you be Mine?”
Jeremiah 31:3; Song of Solomon 6:3
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥
♥♥will you be mine? ♥♥<

here's another funny stories:
As Valentines day was approaching, Charlie decided to buy a special gift for his new girlfriend, Ruth. The couple had not been dating for very long, and so Charlie wanted to make sure the gift was just right. Ruth was always complaining about having cold hands, and so Charlie - after careful consideration - decided a good gift would be a nice pair of gloves.
Charlie took his sister with him to buy the gift - he wanted a woman's opinion. they found a nice pair of gloves at the store, and Charlie's sister purchased a pair of panties at the same time. Unfortunately, the sales clerk got the two items mixed up.
Charlie mailed his Valentine's Day gift to Ruth, accompanied by the following note:
I chose this Valentines Day gift as I noticed that you often don't wear any when we go out in the evenings. If it had not been for my sister, I would have chosen the ones with buttons, but she prefers short ones that are much easier to remove.
These are a lovely colour. The lady at the store where I bought them showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past three weeks, and they were hardly soiled at all. I had her try yours on for me and they looked quite lovely.
I wish I was there to put them on you for the first time; no doubt, other hands will come into contact with them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off, remember to blow on them lightly before putting them away as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing.
Just think how many times I'll be kissing them in the future. I hope you'll wear them Friday night for me.
Love,
Charlie
thats the stories and jokes...I think I'll make some cupcakes.Who can resist it?
they are quicker than cookies ^^
PLEASE NO MORE SNORING!
I'm so busy because XXX....
relatives came....we chat for hours...XD
then they stayed overnight at...
and then one of my relatives shared room with me...
OMG.his SNORING voice was soOo noisy!!!!
I cant sleep better...just hoping he stop snoring IF not I'll slap his face pinch his nose >.<
and IF I DARE!^o^"
...so searched on net and to uncover the problem

according to the ezine articles...as we age, our tissues become looser and the decibel level leaps. By age 60, 60 percent of men become expert woodcutters every night. Once in the major leagues of snoring, could be in deep trouble and the sooner we attempt to prevent snoring, the better it is for us.
It’s usually women who look tired since men tend to snore more. It can create stress within a family and it can also be an indicator of serious medical problems. Studies show that severe snoring can lead to sleep disorders, high blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks and diabetes.
Common culprits include alcohol, sleep medication and cold remedies. Even an overly soft or large pillow could be the cause. Obesity, sleeping on your back and lack of muscle tone are also cited. There are some less common reasons such as abnormalities in the nose. In children, it’s often enlarged adenoids or tonsils that are responsible for the snoring.
THE CURES
from the above, we know what we should do.better quit smoking and other bad habits
use simple anti-snoring sprays and products, home remedies, and exercises can help lessen (if not stop)snoring problem. LAST,find out what surgical procedures and medications that are available when simpler remedies are not enough.

want to enrich your life?
dont want to mention here
I repeat...
Life is precious!
appreciate what you have now!!
love your family and friends
pray more!
enrich your life!
to energize your body and soul...
1. See Christ in every person.
This was the lesson Jesus emphasized in His parable of sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46). There Jesus reminded followers: "Just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me" (Matthew 25:40). * That teaching is a clear reminder that we are to see Christ in every person, and when we do, we are more apt to treat individuals from all walks of life with an identical courtesy and respect.
The story is told of a man who worked for a large corporation at their head office skyscraper. His only duty was to operate an elevator. Although there were three elevators servicing his side of the building, most people favored his elevator because he greeted everyone who entered through his doors with kindness and joy. One executive of the corporation frequently described the elevator operator by saying: "This is our million-dollar employee. He is just as important as the top executives in our company, because all our customers love him." When asked the secret of his popularity and influence, the elevator operator replied: "I look for God in everyone, and it gives me such joy."
my comments>>I agree.
2. Forgive yourself
Author D. Patrick Miller, in A Little Book of Forgiveness, offers this soul-nourishing wisdom: "Never forget that to forgive yourself is to release trapped energy that could be doing good work in the world. Thus, to judge and condemn yourself is a form of selfishness. Self-prosecution is never noble; it does no one a service." Just as you forgive others for their slights, misstatements, and errors of judgment, forgive yourself. Then move on.
my comments>>not only forgive yourself also forgive others la~
3. Learn to bend in order not to break.
A favored proverb among seasoned mariners advises: "We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails." By that they mean we ought to adjust and adapt ourselves to circumstances over which we have no control. Resisting such events is not only counterproductive, but can create even more problems. Go with the flow, and learn to bend in order not to break.
Consider the lesson learned by one man who was "downsized" by his employer. His disappointment quickly turned into major depression when, after several months, he was unable to find a similar position with comparable salary. Then he decided to roll with the reality rather than remain depressed, anxious, and feeling helpless. He decided to volunteer at his local school and church.
"They were thrilled to have someone with my experience," he said. The man also saw a doctor, who prescribed an antidepressant. He began to help out at home and "fell in love with my wife all over again." Deciding that money was no longer his main priority, he found a job at a lower salary. "The loss of my job gave me back my life," he said. "I sent my former employer a thank-you note for firing me and giving me a new life."
my comments>>I agree.
4. Maintain a spirit of goodwill.
When dealing with other people, believe the best about them, see the best in them, hope for their best, and work for the best possible outcomes in your relationships with them. In the Gospels it is clear that Jesus demonstrated goodwill toward the people He met. Jesus presumed the best about people. For example, He affectionately referred to those around Him as "friends" (John 15:15); "lambs" (John 21:15). And, when He was crucified, Jesus continued presuming the best about people, praying: "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34).
my comments>>I agree.
5. Give up revenge.
"A man who studies revenge keeps his own wounds green," observed philosopher Francis Bacon. There is great wisdom in Bacon's observation. Harboring ill will toward another and cultivating dreams of retaliation only keep inner anxiety and agitation alive. By giving up revenge you avoid compromising your own goodness and losing your moral advantage. Be guided by the insight of this Asian proverb: "He who seeks revenge digs two graves."
my comments>>I agree.
6. Create your own inspirational book.
Of course, you can visit a bookstore and select from any number of fine inspirational books. But why not create your own personal and meaningful inspirational book? Buy a simple blank spiral notebook. Then whenever you come across an uplifting quotation, write it in your book. When you read a prayer that moves you, transcribe it into your book. Or write out Bible verses that you find to be especially encouraging. You can even illustrate your book by cutting out of other magazines. peaceful scenes from nature--forests, lakes, rivers, majestic mountains, etc. Just leafing through your personal inspirational book will restore calmness to an anxious spirit and will brighten a moment with joy and pleasure.
my comments>>I agree then I'll have one.^^
7. Be a person of integrity.
Say what you mean and mean what you say. Keep your life free of deception and duplicity. "Humans have a need to be moral. Living by time-honored values--honesty, generosity, kindness, respect--is good for our emotional and physical health," says Hal Urban, Ph.D., author of Life's Greatest Lessons. "Dishonesty--even the `everyone's doing it' kind--sucks up energy. ... Integrity, on the other hand, brings us peace of mind ... increases our self-respect ... and cements important relationships. When we form the habit of choosing integrity--action by small action--we become the people we were meant to be," he adds.
my comments>>"humans have a need to be moral" but why we take moral education but we didnt practice moral more often?
8. Lavish others with kindness.
Find creative ways to spontaneously and generously lavish other people with kindness. When it comes to acts of kindness, go the extra mile and double someone's pleasure when you act.
One day a woman entered a New York City soup kitchen and donated a beautiful diamond ring. The director, Dorothy Day, received it graciously. The mission workers wondered what Day would do with it. Would she take it to a diamond merchant and sell it? That act would certainly have been understandable, since the ring would easily bring a sizable cash gift to the mission.
That afternoon Day gave the diamond ring to an old woman who lived alone and often came to the mission for her meals. "That ring would have paid her rent for the better part of a year," someone said critically to Day. However, Day replied that the woman could sell it if she liked and spend the money for rent, a trip to the Bahamas, or keep the ring to admire. "Do you suppose God created diamonds only for the rich?" she asked her critic.
my comments>>if you found a ring on a road, would you keep it or sell it?
9. Seek out beauty daily.
"Walk in the park. Listen to music. Buy yourself flowers. Connecting with the beauty of the world around you is deeply healing," writes Mike Riley, coauthor with Howard Bronson of the book The Good Bye Book: How to Heal a Broken Heart in 30 Days.
my comments>>its good to walk in the park and listen to music but "buy yourself flowers" for what?
no need la~
10. Practice citizenship.
Writer Howard Fast once observed: "Patriotism ... applies to true love of one's country and a code of conduct that echoes such love." Show pride in your country by working to make the lives of every citizen better. Your own spirit will be elevated, knowing that you had a hand in improving the lot of another person.
my comments>>what??!!!!!practice citizenship?will you show pride in your country... would you leave your country if you could go that far?and possibly do ever come back?
your perspective on life's events can make you emotionally and spiritually stronger

O My Tooth
To my dear blog,
I am getting my wisdom teeth???
can't see that tooth yetthen, I used my tongue to touch the upper side of my mouth
felt there's something HARD
but doesn't hurt ...
X pain!I'm not sure its wisdom teeth or not?
It's wisdom tooth! wisdom tooth!According to wikipedia, Wisdom teeth are third molars that usually appear between the ages of 16 and 24. They are commonly extracted when they affect other teeth—this impaction is colloquially known as "coming in sideways."
Turkish refers directly to the age at which wisdom teeth appear and calls it 20 yaş dişi (20th year tooth). In Arabic, its name is Ders-al-a'qel (ضرس العقل), literally meaning "The tooth of the mind". In Korean, its name is Sa-rang-nee (사랑니, love teeth) referring to the young age and the pain of the first love. In Japanese, its name is Oyashirazu (親知らず), literally meaning "unknown to the parents," from the idea that they erupt after a child has moved away.
Omg! What should I do? See dentist?

here's about aging
...tada
aim: To study the types of fuels** used by the heart in young and aged mice
problem statement: What is factor that contribute to a progressive age-related decline in heart function?
hypothesis: An age-related decline in heart function is a risk factor for heart disease in the elderly.
As the heart ages the ability to use fat as an energy source deteriorates.
#The young healthy heart normally used a balance of fat and sugar to generate energy to allow the heart to beat and pump blood efficiently.
#Using a genetically engineered mouse that is deficient in a protein that is responsible for transporting fat into the cells of the heart,
#Old genetically modified mice did not accumulate fat in their hearts, as did ordinary mice
#Old genetically altered mice out-performed ordinary old mice on a treadmill test, were completely protected from age-related decline in heart function, and in many ways their hearts looked and performed like hearts from a young mouse.
=Dyck findings suggest that the protein responsible for transporting fat into the contractile cells of the heart may be a candidate for drug inhibition and that this drug could protect the heart from aging.
=He hopes it will lead to the development of medications that inhibit the uptake of fatty acids into the heart and prevent and/or reverse the effects of aging on the heart muscle.
..and this is another article
Are you a mice?
fighting aging disease by wasting E rather than dieting---works for mice
The researchers said, identifying a simple intervention affecting several age-related diseases is an attractive approach to decreasing the morbidity of growing old.
They suspected that treatments designed to alter the efficiency of mitochondrial respiration might be one way to accomplish this.
In a series of experiments, the research team bred large numbers of mice, fed them a normal chow diet and followed each mouse until its natural death. Half were genetically engineered to make more of a protein in their muscle tissue called uncoupling protein-1. Their littermates did not make excess uncoupling protein. In muscle tissue, uncoupling protein-1 converts the energy from food into heat and mimics the effects of exercise.
Uncoupling = generating inefficient metabolism
The LONGEST-LIVED animals in each group lived for 39 months and died within two weeks of one another.
What was different was the median lifespan for the mice.
Median survival in the uncoupled mice was 30 months, compared to 27 months for their wild-type littermates
the reasearchers were disappointed ---they had hoped uncoupling in muscle would slow aging, but maximum lifespan didn't increase. However, the odds of reaching that maximum lifespan did improve in the uncoupled mice."
results: Decreasing body fat and inflammation in the animals by accelerating muscle metabolism with uncoupling protein delayed death and diseases, including atherosclerosis, diabetes, hypertension and even cancer
they also found that female mice with the uncoupling protein mutation were less likely to develop a type of cancer called lymphoma.
No differences in lymphoma rates were found in male mice. Increased uncoupling protein-1 in muscle also reduced markers of chronic inflammation
In a second set of experiments, the researchers found that the uncoupled mice were less likely to have vascular disease.
That was the opposite of what Semenkovich and his colleagues previously had found in mice engineered to overproduce uncoupling protein-1 in the wall of the aorta, the body's primary artery.
Rather than being protected from damage, those mice were prone to develop high blood pressure and atherosclerosis.
Where the uncoupling occurs has a big impact.
If this principle someday becomes a therapy, it will be very important to target the proper tissues to produce the desired effects.
Uncoupling in muscle may be a substitute for exercise," researcher says.
If that's true in humans, and if uncoupling can be done safely, this could be an important therapy because it's sometimes very difficult to get people to exercise.
Wise words for today: EAT HEALTHY, LIVE HEALTHY!

ALIVE to take...
Praise God & Rejoice in the Lord...
Don't ever said bored to death
I took a personality test and the result was ...
| You Act Like You Are 13 Years Old |
You are a teenager at heart. You don't quite feel like a grown up yet, but you don't feel like a kid. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. You're quite rebellious, and you don't like being told what to do. You like to do things your way. You have your own unique style, taste in music, and outlook on life. |
These just giving idea of who I am!
no.1 * "You don't quite feel like a grown up yet, but you don't feel like a kid."
my comments: ahhh..It's true that I don't feel it a kid...I'm growing UP..hehe
no.2* "You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
my comments: yup! At least I know where am I on this earth [currently] .
Human doesn't last forever in this world...
no.3* "You're quite rebellious, and you don't like being told what to do. You like to do
things your way."
my comments: rebellious?so what?
don't like being told what to do but have to listen to people [respect them OK?]...DO what is RIGHT
no.4* "You have your own unique style, taste in music, and outlook on life."
my comments: ya... Our minds are as different as our finger prints and no
two are alike. So, everyone is different...but will have same interest
something RELATED and it comes to my mind :
DON'T JUDGE a person by appearance but by what is RIGHT!
thats it! I'll post whenever possible

DEATH
my uncle passed away on Sunday (13/01/2008) *cry*
just few weeks more before Chinese New Year
ahhh...:(
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit
Psalm 34:18
LIFE is so short
but...
sweet for certain
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." -James 4:14
Once your dead, no one can pray your way out of hell (and there is no purgatory taught in
the Bible).
Now is the time to get SAVED!
Simply pray in your heart + admit to Christ (God the Son) that you are a sinner.
Ask Him to save your soul from hell and forgive you of all your sins.
Invite Him into your heart as your personal Saviour.
That's it friend.
Your not saved because of any certain words or magical prayers you say.
No, your saved because you went to Jesus to be saved (Romans 10:13).
You didn't go to the church or to the pope, you went directly to the one Who died on the
cross for you, Jesus Christ (John 10:9).
In Jesus' precious name,Amen.
May him rest in peace.

I went out for a trip to waterfall instead of bake cake or cookies
actually it was better
because for quite a long time family and I didn't go to visit the mother nature
the water was cold.
Then I stared at the green trees, beautiful waterfall and breathed the air...
yack! BAD smell. It was polluted. Don't know where the polluted smell from??

like other Malaysian... we brought pisang goreng, keropok ikan and nasi lemak which was
the BEST in Malaysia and then we ate em (of cause) !
After that ......

aha...BIG daddy, BIG bro and LITTLE bro caught small fish with the fishing net...
Opps! Have I mentioned my mum yet?
She collected something?

then the weather changed and MR.RAIN came to show his POWER
ohh OoOo... "run to safe LIFE"!
so... cabut lari
just went near the parking lot only lah...

play water + catch fish + collect sand [to put it in the aqua~rium]
