Running for...

Time flies and it's mid-March already. I read something on net. Running is fun.

One in ten joggers said that they have sex at least once a day and three per cent of joggers said they have sex twice a day.

Amongst non-runners one in four (25 per cent) said they had sex once a month or less.

The survey, which questioned 1,000 runners and 1,000 non-runners, also found that one in ten male runners confessed to thinking about sex while exercising.

In comparison, only five per cent of woman said they think about sex while running and almost half spend their time thinking about how the exercise is benefitting them.

The poll, carried out for healthcare charity Sue Ryder Care, also found that a quarter of joggers admitted going running to help them flirt with the opposite sex in a trend branded 'flunning'.

More than a third said they have managed to strike up a conversation with someone of the opposite sex while running.

The event organizer wanted to find out what motivates people to run and discover this new craze which seems to have really caught on everywhere hoping this will encourage more people to get running.

Oh my...the runners were joking about the copulate part. Weren't they? Run for 'Health'. That's the great benefit you get by being a runner @@*.
By the way, I'm joining RunNat2010 and going to practice for the run this weekend. I have to run right to prevent injuries.

Running is quite natural, right? At least, we must be contented with the blessings we have. Some people born with no arms and legs and...I have a pair of legs to stand,walk,run,etc...should appreciate it. I love running and jogging but wondered why its not easy to encourage people to get out and walk? Different people have different tastes, different interests and different priorities. I would be glad if more people can join me in getting in shape ;)

Yup getting hyperactive already and I would like to add on something to share with people.
Breaking free from the unrealistic thin ideal of beauty has never been more urgent.

Did you know that:

* 1 out of 8 adolescent girls reported starving themselves to lose weight
* 40% of moms tell their adolescent daughters to diet and 45% of these girls are of average weight
* 81% of 10 year old girls are afraid of being fat
* 51% of 9 and 10 year old girls feel better about themselves if they are on a diet
* More than 2/3 of women ages 18-25 would rather be mean or stupid than be fat
* Over 50% of women ages 18-25 would rather be hit by a truck than be fat
* 70 million people worldwide struggle with eating disorder

It's interesting or horrifying to know these statistics?

To conclude, eat and exercise, sleep tight and be bright!
